Family Christmas and Handmade Gifting...
~
On Saturday my side of the family got together for our Annual Christmas party, which was great fun-eating way more than we should, accented by our whole group dancing around to Christmas music (which was made the most enjoyable ever as we all cheered on the two 20 month old toddler nieces shakin' their diapered booties to the rhythm!), getting crazy playing the White elephant present exchange before the actual present opening(it becomes all the more intense when someone's thrown in some seriously good gifts!).

I was also gifted with the presence of my great BFF from Austin Lisa (and her hubby)- which put me in over-the-top-hyper-happy-silly-cheer-spirits. She has a way of doing that to me. (Crazy intense fun energy that had built up for too long without seeing each other!!)And we are planning several fun-fests for this week before they have to take off and go home, too!! yay!

Sooo, what was funny was that my two sisters who went all crafty for Christmas this year and I ALL chose to do the SAME crafty idea for each other gifts. Painting on wood!! This was my sis Amelia's offering to us! Cute framed Monogram!
Here we have my version of the "Ugly Doll" that I made for Dane for Christmas...Which he told me he loves, especially because it has 6 legs.
We always take the pressure off of tons of cooking for anyone by going to this waterfront restaurant and reserving a banquet room overlooking the water. This was our third year doing it, and we enjoy it so much!
Here we have my gift for my Sis's exchange present. For their house, obviously.
