All I can say about today is:

I am glad it is mostly over.

I hate cars that don't work.

I hate stick shifter cars.

I hate humidity and 100 degree weather.

I am still deciding whether or not to drive 30 minutes away to buy a brass chandelier for $15 (off of craig'slist) tonight after my DH gets home.

I probably will.
