Lena and the Love Affair with all things Feline.

This post is for me (faaaar into the future). And of course my mom.

Random facts:

~

• Lena wants to be a kitty doctor, have a cat hospital, a cat hotel, and bring forward thinking ready-to wear fashions to the feline world.



• Lena enjoys reading cat breed books of any kind over all other books.



• When doing her vocab sentences for school, EVERY one is about a cat, somehow. (ex. "My cat got rid of her fleas." or "The kitty slid down the hill.")



• All books she makes/writes at school involve kitties.



• All books she brings home from the library involve kitties.



• She as been a black cat, a leopard, and a kitty pop star for 3 different Halloweens. She has announced recently that she wants to be some kind of CAT for every Halloween hereafter.(specifically mentioning an angel-cat or princess-cat)



• At this year's ward Christmas party, she curled up under the Christmas tree in front of the entire ward and pretended to be a sleeping cat.



• She frequently gets home from school, and puts small crackers in one bowl, and fills another up with water, only to set them on the floor and kneel down and eat her snack "kitty-style" .

  This is of course not to mention the throngs of stuffed animal cats she owns, has plastered hand created cat art all over her wall, and her beloved REAL pet cats, Pearly and Squirrely.

When she's not playing with one of them..I've offten said she works like a sweatshop factory worker churning out cat art, making handmade cat toys, or crafting up a cat tent,playland, or some other related thing out of cardboard boxes, yarn, straws, tin foil...you get the picture.

I just look forward to see how her obsession evolves..and how someday she'll look back at this and laugh.
