DATE NIGHT ...

So we wanted to go walk around the quaint shops of a neighboring little town, and when we got there like almost everything was CLOSED, including the main purpose of our visit, the CUPCAKE SHOP!! I was so sad.

But then as we walked we stumbled upon a boutique/restaurant shop that was hosting some local artists work and so they were all staying open late (gahh! past 7pm - who could EVER stay up THAT late!!!) and so we were totally happy to make that our little evening activity. Some great modern art, in different mediums! We had dinner at a local Greek place that is actually owned by Melina Kanakaredes's husband. It has the BEST gyros!

I think our dessert was cursed that night because after the cupcake shop let us down, we tried to hit up this old haunt of ours that had the most Delicious caramel pretzel frozen custard shake things, and when we got there it was CLOSED- and I mean like SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!! haha! So in the end we just went to the old standby, Greaters for ice cream.

This cute shop, FOUND, was awesome. It honestly reminded me of ABC carpet & home in NYC, on a mini scale.
