My Little Fishermen....

Suddenly, since our trees were blown down by the hurricane leftovers, my boys decided to try out a new past time in our newly cleared back yard area. Fishing over the side of the deck!! What a thrill! What a past time!! Shhh, once word of this new hobby gets around- no parents of small boys wielding fishing rods will be spared!!
The little boy practices his cast, and big boy provides moral support. What, you think you can't go fishing into grass, and your neighbor's yard? Tsk, Tsk. All sorts of small things can be found. Plastic Robot dinosaurs...white toy jaguars....you name it!!
This is my lovely view of them from inside .....

I don't think a single kid would begrudge your son fishing off of a porch deck ... shoot, we sail across the sea on our couch, fly to Grandma's in the dishwasher, rocket to the moon with a couple 2x4s and an empty paint can ....
Dane is soooo amazingly GQ! So much fun, he will remember for a lifetime!
